The survey of the Indus River Channel was carried out with the support of Pakistan Navy with funding by a group of entrepreneurs as a private sector initiative to evaluate the feasibility of this channel.

IWTDC has established at Jand River Front (JRF) hydrographic setup to undertake bathymetric survey of river/enclosed waters/harbors. The Company has the dedicated staff under qualified hydrographer and a special survey boat along with state of the art survey equipment i.e. Trimble RTK DGPS, Echosounder (Bathy 2010) and HYPACK Max software and other associated softwares.
The Company services can be availed for conduct of bathymetric survey after necessary project formalities.
